A big thanks to these two wonderful guys who helped in in sorting my car. Again!! Don't know where I would be without them.

Sold it! Now have a XC90 R Design with full air suspension - which is needed for the 22 inch wheels. Bling-tastic!
I couldn't stomach the price for the D5 when this thing came loaded with all the bells and whistles I could ever need, for a considerably lower price. Will keep lurking here though.

Busy day
Well today I fitted my spot lights to my home made bracket and also moved some electrical bits around in the auxiliary battery box

Fitted what was a DPF delete. Quickly tig welded in some bungs and cut off all the bracketry. End result a decat for £40 (+£17 for new clamp at the front but old one was ready to fall off anyway)
This was during the process of fabricating a new centre section of exhaust due to a rattling centre box. I couldn't finish the new exhaust, so located the rattle on the old box and made a nice new dent with a 4lb hammer - rattle gone

Replaced a front diff oil seal on the offside. A ten quid part that takes 2 minutes to replace, once you've spent 45 minutes getting to it! 😬2011 D4 SDV6 HSE
