beg to differ Robbie...when I had grating from the front end the dealer put it on the ramp and showed me the cups that the suspension sat in on access mode...a common fault I waS ADVISED..

hi All and thanks for the replies
Just a quick update, I covered the stops in grease with no joy, so ended up taking it to my local indy (who I don't trust) and they have diagnosed the wheel alinement and have recommended I get that done before any serious investigation work.
Might make sense as the front suspension has had some work done and parts replaced, so I'll give it a go.
What I would like to know is, has anyone got any recommendations where to go around the Runcorn area??
Cheers
PS Runcorn is near Liverpool

He was either mistaken or you misheard. Access height is above the bump-stop position and still has some suspension travel available. There should be zero metal-to-metal contact.
