Ride Height Sensor Multiplug

Hi All

Had faultcode C1a07 a couple of times and this last time had another one pointing me in the direction of the front left sensor.

I have been out in the dark and pouring rain and given both a good dousing with WD40 with a hope it will get me to work and back tomorrow with a plan to do a bit better job at the weekend.

My gut feeling (from reading lots of posts on here and my own experience) is that a good clean and operation through the full range would help.

My question is that there looked to be a multiplug under the unit (It was dark and raining!!) - could that be taken off and WD'd and replaced without having to do any recalibration or anything?

Also could the whole unit be removed without a recalibration if the same unit was replaced?

I have a BAS Faultmate but that doesn't seem to have any recalibration capability?

Any help gratefully recieved as ever!!

Thanks

Thanks Gaz thats great thank you

So could you tell me would I be able to disconnect the mutiplug and reconnect it without having to do any fancy recalibration?

Dont want to do anything that will render it totally undriveable until I have to!

Thanks again for the reply really appreciated
