discovery 3 trailer lights blinking Help
hi just tried my trailer on my disco 3 for the first time the trailerindicator lights seem to blink
the trailer has led lights fitted and resistors in the lights can anybody tell me how to stop this do i need to rip out the wiring and fit genuine landrover wiring as it may be aftermarket
Wiring harness makes no odds ( my last D3 did it with led lights) - I have (apparently) can bus friendly led bulbs on a lighting board for my D4, and they do not pulse /flashSi

You need a ‘pulse buster’ with LED trailer lights connected to a D3. Essentially two LED load resistors and two relays.
A D4 does not pulse the trailer LED so only requires resistors to disable the rear fog lights, rear parking sensors, alter autobox shift points and disable automatic height adjustment when changing Terrain Response mode.MY14 TDV6

Where do the wires go on the relay as 5 terminals on relay but your drawing only shows 4 terminals on relay
Which colour wires of the trailer connect to which terminal numbers:
30 -
85 -
86 -
87 -
87a -

Don’t use 87a
The top coil pins are 85 and 86 (85 earth but if don’t matter)
30 and 87 bottom

Have fitted this set up to a new Ifor Williams trailer which has stopped the indicator fast blinking - but now the trailer turn signal does not show on the dash board when the trailer is connected when indicating .... is there anything I can do to fix this??
All help greatly appreciated.

You still need load resistors

I’ve got resistors in wired between +ve & -ve but now thinking about it they may be too high and possibly need to replace with a smaller load resit’s or

What resistance are the resistors that you have fitted?
Where exactly have you fitted them?MY14 TDV6
