Yep, agreed, I just cut an X in the new headrests rather than modifying the handles so I can put it back the way it was if necessary.

Thank you. If you wanna have a closer look why not pop along to the Kent/Sussex pub meet
Has anyone got any pics of their "hidden" AV install yet? I have done the basic install and am really happy with it (not as happy as the kids though!). However, I would like to make the composite cable bundle hanging out the back of the centre consol neater.
Thanks in advance,

Arrrrrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....Wired up Headrests to power and AV.....put everything back in place (without testing I could get a picture - yes I can hear you all scream) and all I get is NTSC on screen. Looking at other posts looks like I'm not getting a video signal to the screens (they both can't be faulty!!!!).

plug your device in to play a film, and press the buttons till picture comes up, NTSC is good, means your getting signal......

hidden install
finally found time for my own "hidden install" project. Here is what I came up with:
The Audio & Video Connector interface is mounted in the central storage box under the middle armrest
Surge Supressor is mounted ahead of the gear selector
Main box (where the cables to the seats are connecting to) is located just below the Audio & Video interface panel between the gear selector and the storage box.
Previous existing rear AUX connection is no longer functional as I have enabled the AUX in the storage box
As a result all cables are hidden in the storage box and are out of sight. Due to moving the aux connector as well I have the ability to choose if the Audio Signal is played via the Car Radio AUX or the Infrared Headphones.
Will post pictures later

Thanks Macleod, all ok, used an old PS2 slim to test it and everything works fine. Now just have to figure out where to fix the PS2. Thanks again, great write up.
Ive had a really good set of diagrams for the removal of the cubby box n console off another forum member but cant find anything on the headrest handles being modified.
I cant see it being too mindfudling just a case of running the leads through the seat back and some adjustments on the handles.
Thanks again

Hi Mac,
I have just started this mod and would like to see how the wiring loom all connects together but for some reason the pictures won't load up I have tried a few different computers to see if it was something to do with apple but no joy. Have you still got the picture you took from this job? If so could you email them to me only been how wiring goes under fridge compartment if possible
Cheers
