Most people run 200:1
Disco 4 fuel tank is 82litres.
82÷200=0.41
That's 400ml or just under ½litre.
Around that dose is perfectly ok.
Don't add it and expect mileage increase. If you know anything about engines, you'll hear less diesel knock, at cold startup, and a general better sounding motor.
It's for lube for the fuel system more than anything, making up for the lack at the pump.
Blend is:
JASO FC, ISO EGD, API TC
Have used this Westway one for years. 5 litres is £25.99 free delivery.
Do not get confused by the fact that it is Red in colour. This has absolutely nothing to do with 'Red Diesel' that is cheaper and not legal for use on the road. RED diesel has a die, a marker and other chemistry so it can be identified being used in other road traffic.
Hope that helps.2011 MY D4 HSE

Spoke to mechanic today he uses this, any thoughts?
He said it got a misfiring freelander to run sweet again when using it!

I have been using the Liqui Moly semi-synthetic (blue container) in two aged TD4 freelanders and our SDV6 D4 for a couple of years now. The noticeable impact is less top end rattle. Not sure what else it is doing but always get very clean emissions results at MOT.
Only add it every half dozen or so fill ups.Discovery 4 3.0 HSE Lux, 2015
