BROKEN SUSPENSION UP/DOWN SWITCH - fixed my way

the down part of the suspension switch has always been a bit iff and it finally packed up yesterday so i decided to havvalooksie...

we all know how to remove the gear lever and switch pack ..

i had already removed the black cover on the board at this stage (2 screws and 4 clips)

the circuit board comes out after you pull the two lever caps off and also the terrainn responce knob

upon checking the contact surfaces the up/down ones were in a poor state, burned away almost

How to remove gear lever etc

I've got the same problem as the originator of this thread except I don't know how to get to the switch????

Could someone point me in the right direction please?

Cheers,

Mark

Thanks a lot. Took mine apart and found that liquid must have spilled onto the circuit board under the rubber lever contact. Gave it a good clean with alco swab on the circuitboard and the little metal contact in the rubber button.

Working a dream now. Local dealer said you can't buy secondhand as the board is VIN locked so would show up errors.

Unnecessary quote removed

Ok, so bought a replacement circuit and switch pack today, but unsure on how to remove the original ? Is there a step by step guide ?

Thanks
