So he does...

Spoke to Penguin also as he has the exact same model that I want. (He lives in Belgium though).

Very neatly designed. DD, do you think the Land Rover roof bars are able to deal with the weight of the tent & one or two heavy people?

I'm hoping so!

Does anyone know the load ratings for the bars?

I'm not sure that they are up to the job, I seem to remember reading about a weight restriction for the bars when I bought my roofbox.
I'm sure someone will tell us shortly.

It would not be a very good fix on the roof bars a roof rack would be much beter but that well ad more expense to the tent the roof rails are up to it you will have to look at the fixings on the tent to see how it will fix on

Just thought about it a bit more logically. The weight restriction would be for load weight in transit. Static weight would be totally different. The L/R aero bars look a little feeble, but hopefully will be up to the job. Alternatively maybe the Thule bars are a bit more robust.

DD,
I'm not certain, but I think Red Defender got theirs from Peterborough.
