HEATER FAN NOT WORKING
Guys my heater fan has stopped blowing for some reason
Al the lights are on and there is obviously heat coming from the vents, just not under pressure from the fan
I have tried changing switch/fuse around in the engine bay to see if it was that but it doesn't seem to have worked then I find that my front head light washers aren't working now either so wondered if there was a chance that both fuse assemblies have went US?
Can hear clicking from the fuse box under bonnet when I am trying to turn fan on so wondered what the rest of you though?
I'm going to take a trip down to Land Rover Preston tomorrow and see if I can pick up a couple of new fuse relays to see if both of them have went at the same time

Thanks Robbie👠checked relays and it's not the problem so I'll bite the bullet and throw it in to land rover before I go round in circles😕"Your mind is like a parachute! It will only function when open"!

Guys car booked in to an independent garage on Wednesday and if he can't find the problem then it's also booked in to Hunters Preston on Friday morning so one way or the other I should find out what is wrong with it and have it fixed.
Either way I will post what ever information I get on here and if I can get photos then they will go on too. If I can help anyone else with the situation I will because this is a real pain in the back side and I wouldn't want anyone else dealing with this themselves and have no idea

It looks like this (LR031677):
It is located below the fan behind the passenger glovebox. The silver fins are not visible when installed so you are just looking for a black or grey square with a connector sticking out. Cost about £60 and takes about 5 min to fit as a simple DIY job. Your issue has come up a number of times on the forum and is usually the relay or the module above.
Anyway, hope all goes well with your indy.

Robbie thanks very much for that mate
As I said I have changed over all the fuse/relays and no luck so perhaps this unit? But hopefully either garage should come up with it.
Would be ideal to have a spare one handy to see if that was the issue before going down any other route."Your mind is like a parachute! It will only function when open"!

I have a spare one here. Won't have a chance to get it to you before it goes into either garage though My D3 Build Thread

Disco_Mikey thanks for the offer mate, much appreciated
Does anyone have any idea of the likelihood hood of this being the problem?
I could order one tomorrow and have it for Wednesday and save a lot of time and hassle but then again I could change it and it still doesn't work and have spent £60 + for nothing

my fan motor itself went, the module was fine, but the breakers I got a 2012 fan from also sent the module so I changed both regardless, cost for both delivered was £65FFRR SC 4.2

Time is against me as I only have this week off work to sort it out
I think i'll bite the bullet and order the module and hope for the best
Worst case scenario will no doubt be found by Land Rover and a replacement fan motor installed but either way I need it fixed this week as I need to start thinking about my cam belts very soon "Your mind is like a parachute! It will only function when open"!
