Welcome on board
hopefully you were aware of the few essentials mechanical items that need sorting on any D3 such as cam belts and oil pumps etc

I forgot how smooth a Land rover can be.. Loving my D4 to bits
Don't get me wrong I'am aware of how her needy a land rover can be. Clearly i'm still in the honeymoon period. But she still makes me smile when I walk up to her to drive home. I don't wants this end..

^ It's the permagrin feature you only get with a D3/D4.
Had it from day one in 2005 with my new D3 and it's never left me with my other two D4s.
Never had it on any other vehicle.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Replaced both rear license plate W5W bulbs. One had burned out. I had replaced both simultaneously the last time, too, about two years ago.
Replaced the Chinesium jack with something more suitable. The Sealey SJ5 jack goes into the polystyrene insert nicely after some minor modification. The hardest part was getting that insert out of it's cubby hole. Should have done this ages ago.
Regards,
Steve

This is something I've done to my last 3 vehicles. I find a light coloured A Pillar really distracting and it bothers me to see it in my periphery. So I use some fake black Alcantara to cover the A Pillar trim and it's gone! Sort of. Not to everybody's taste but it's not a fashion statement.

Looks good.
I'd prefer the whole headlining, pillars & visors to be in black.
Just don't like this beige stuff!!!
Was half thinking on using black fabric dye, but sadly not brave enough ....and a huge hassle to change if I got it wrong!I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Thanks. Yes I may end up doing the whole lot at some point if I find the time. I'm one of those strange creatures that prefers to sit in the dark. Even my office is blacked out.

Exactly the same here. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
