TDV6 Engine big fault

Hi friends,

Firstly, sorry for my english, but I searching about my problem because where I live, didn't find anything.

I have an TDV6 LR3, and some weeks ago, engine made noise when driving Sad fuel consumption was raising. It was about 16,5l/100km but I don't drive aggressive..
One of my friend in the Bosch Company clean and rebuild the 6 atomizers and the high pressure fuel pump. He sad me, there was a lot of iron shard in the atomizers. Got a new high pressure fuel pump, then start the engine and it shut down, engine is locked.
Dealer sad me, we had to take off the chassis, before the engine, but we took out the engine from the front of the car. It was hard work, but made it.

Then, I took the engine to a team, they sad: -the dual mass flywheel is broken, and it smashed the crankshaft, THEN the oil pressure gone and one of the piston is locked.

So, my question is, WHERE can I find a crankshaft in good condition and a winch?

Faults: - crankshaft is twisted. Exclamation
- winch twisted Exclamation

other parts of the engine are fine!

WAITING FOR THE ANSWER!
THANKS!!!!!!!
BEST REGARDS!

Cheaper? A second hand engine is about 3-4000GBP. Is it really cheaper to buy the whole engine than the 2 parts?

You can buy aftermarket pistons, rings and main bearing shells but so far I haven't seen an aftermarket crankshaft or rods. The main problem is Ford is not releasing spare parts for the lower engine - and as a mate of mine has just found out, they don't seem to releasing parts for any of their engines, as he just had to buy a whole new long motor for his diesel Ranger!

It's a pretty dodgy act considering there are design problems from the factory that cause catastrophic failures on the TDV6, like crankshafts that snap spontaneously, bearing caps that weren't correctly installed or the oil pump casing failing. Definitely feel bad for anyone with a failed TDV6.

You might try buying a wrecked D3/RRS TDV6, then selling off the remaining parts to help cover the expense? Good luck with it.

With damaged crankshaft, con rods and pistons there is probably further damage to the engine, so a replacement unit is a better bet.

If there were metal particles released from the failing HPFP then all fuel components downstream of it should be replaced.

Thank you very much for the answers!

The fuel components were rebuild/clean by a BOSCH Diagnostic Company, they give warranty with them, I think these will be okay.

But I think I had to search for crankshaft, 1 con rod, screws for cylinder head, bearings...
Should I buy a new oil pump? The old one is works correctly but I heard somewhere need to change it.
And I think, I should buy a new dual mass flywheel..
