Crank bearings
We're do I start or stop ? My D3 as covered nearly 147000mls I love this car & don't mind spending on preventive maintenance so after reading a few post of the big end bearings failing is it worth getting them changed or just keep driving & hoping they don't fail ? & what is the cost to get them replaced and if any one knows we're I can get them done many thanks

I am not sure replacing bearings is economic and bearings themselves may not be the cause of failure. I would say replace the oil pump and get a bit more oomph in the oil pressure including at engine start. But others may suggest something else.2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.
