mzaver - they look like one of the std 18" wheel options and they are described as "OEM" so would imagine they are, if genuine, std fit D3 18" rims so they should bolt straight on with no issues. Cheers

Still on the hunt for some 18" rims. Anyone know if the 18" rims from an LR2/FL2 will fit an '07 LR3/D3 HSE?

Am I right to asume that all D3 alloy wheel options fit all D3 models without any problems, may seem like a stupid question but thinking buy 18" or 19"s to replace my 17"s.

Yes - with one gotcha, the 17's don't fit the V8's
So if you have 17's now you can fit 18's, 19's or even on-road 20's without issue Steve N (qzd)

These are the FFRR wheels, as DG says MY2006 onwards, not the earlier 6 spoke 19" wheels. The 7 spoke wheels definately fit as the pic is the wheels on my D3. Quite a few forum members using FFRR 19" rims.

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I'm looking to improve the look of my TDV6 5 seat.
Amongst some basic add-ons, I've got the chance to buy a set of RRS 19" rims+tyres like the ones in the 3rd image down at the start of this thread.
I've taken the forums advice and have asked the seller for the the tyre specs so I can check the weight loading. But, the caption with forum image says the are 1" wider than the D3.
Will this 1" cause a problem with rubbing ? or turning? Or is it nothing to worry about?
Cheers

Nowt to worry about.
AndrewS and Al Cope and several others (me as well) have run/are running RRS rims without any problems.
Just ensure you get the right tyres for the weight and speed of the D3 and you'll be fine. Welcome to the forum

It has no detrimental effect at all however it looks better, should make the handling a tad tighter (by stabilising the tyre a bit compared to the 8"), and may make you an allround better person Cheers

I've run the RRS 19" by 9" wide wheels for nearly a year now. They do handle a bit sharper, have no interference with anything when turning, so they're great on the bitumen. I've noted one small problem - when driving on or near beaches (can often serve for highways here in Oz) I've had two instances where the wider wheels helped to cause the sidewalls to get sliced. Solution has been a set of MTRs on the stock (for the V8 ) 19" x 8" wheels and no problems to date. Jim Dowell
