How many discovery 3 v8s are on the roads in the uk?
I was having a butchers on auto trader just to keep an eye on the prices as we all do time to time & only found 1 for sale. This got me thinking, so I typed into google how many left & it gave me a figure of 385
Disco 3 V8s left on the uk roads. Can anyone shed any light on this?
I must admit, "if it's true" that I had no idea they were this rare!!!!!

You will love it, whenever I have passengers they always comment on how quiet & smooth the ride is.
It's a shame they never introduced the 5 litre v8 in the uk, I'd have had my name on one of them.

For starters, think about cleaning the throttle body and MAF sensor (plenty on YouTube about it) and replace the PCV for good measure. Dead easy.PAGODA

You can waste hours of your life looking at figures on this website:

Love my 5.0 V8 D4 here in the USA.
Went out to the Bonneville Salt Flats a couple weeks ago - there is a 44 mile straight on the freeway on the way back. I generally hover just above the speed limit but there was no traffic around for miles.
I gave her some beans and she pulled like a train up to the kind of speeds that could get me into trouble and still had more to give. What an amazing car '80 109 Stage 1 V8 - still going strong!

Thanks guys for the welcome and the maintenance tips. It's going in to my local landrover specialist next week for a thorough going over and check out (not that I don't trust the dealer I got it from, hang on, it's exactly because I don't trust the dealer I got it from!)
