| Volume control knob has no effect |

My infotainment system works fine but I now have no sound at all from the system, whatever I use such as sat nav, radio, CD, phone. Rotating the volume know makes no difference and does not show any numerical increase/decrease in terms of the display. Someone on the forum said it could be the amp...where is it located? To add, I have had a sunroof drain pipe leak which made the left hand side of the carpet and underlay very wet...could there be a connection as this happened shortly after the pipe replacement passenger side front? Could be water but don't know where amp and comms units are located.....2005 D3 HSE V6 help appreciated.

Tintop your amp is under your drivers seat and the sat nav unit should be under the passenger seat  Discovery 3 se gone
Range rover sport supercharged here:)

Hi Geoff, many thanks for the guidance and so quickly...
Having just got back inside out of the bloomin' cold!!! I took the advice
Given in a thread, about battery disconnection and a hard reset....and it worked!!!
All functionality resumed...phew!
Thank you again and as we are communicating, We will be moving to the Isle of Wight soon, do you know of anyone on the island you would recommend,, either in the forum or as a business, in the event I ever need some assistance?

I might try a hard reset on the missus, her volume control has never worked either.  Mods:
