Had this fitted today as it had been advised on mot.
I also had a new anti-roll bar link fitted on same side. Both had to be cut off (bolts that is) as they were probably on the car from new. Total cost £258 inc vat

New front pair of boots yesterday, so thought a wash and brush up was in order.
Always think that it's not looking too bad for an 11 year old motor!

Hi Stephen yes as the other was fine. The LR indie said its not a problem just do the other as and when needed. He used a genuine LR one because he said then it will not need 4 wheel alignment as with an after market one.

He did mark things. I trust him Stephen and all seems ok. He did say that if he used a aftermarket one I would need it aligning. I will see how it goes. I may get it aligned anyway. It's just finding somewhere near me. Another thing he mentioned was my juddering at junctions. He has had another 05 disco with the same problem and he has found a fault with the high pressure pump. If he cures that one I may be tempted to have mine done.

How's the MG going?
With my mum having a stroke I have had no time for the MG. I am hoping to get it all back together over the next couple of weeks. The lights have been re-chromed and are just waiting to be fitted. I will then get it moted as it runs out on Wednesday. Plenty to keep me busy Stephen.
