Indeed, they're only cars. My daughter is at home this weekend and we have a dog and 3 cats.
The noise was like nothing else and lasted for for several seconds.
Just wish the recovery for the Saab would hurry up. LRA sorted out the D4 and it was gone within a couple of hours. The Saab is with Aviva who are not impressing me at the moment. We need it gone as the area will have to be made safe tomorrow.
The fire brigade, council and local Councillor have all been around. I was impressed by the local Councillor, very kind and helpful.
Good news is that NFU have a new replacement policy for vehicles up to 2 years old. Bad news is I don't think there are any new unregistered Landmark D4's anymore.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Thanks for all the kinds words.
My daughter and I are a bit shocked, I think due to the massive noise and then seeing the damage etc. My wife was out in the Toyota, but is sad about her beloved Saab. She's only had Saabs for the past 22 years and doesn't like "new" cars.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

For sake. I've phoned Aviva several times now and keep hearing the same that the RAC are on the way. Since 6pm. The Saab will have rusted away to a pile of brown dust before they get here.

Thanks everyone. A quick search on t'internet last night, whilst waiting for the recovery of the Saab , revealed there's a few 66 plate Landmarks available with either delivery mileage or low mileage.
I even found myself looking at some £50-60k FFRR's. Plus points for a split tail gate, minus points for only 5 seats, smaller boot and not a flat load area.
Biggest headache asides from replacing two cars is the huge amount of engineering that will be required to initially make safe and then rebuild the wall. I just hoping we won't have to move out, but it's going to be interesting to say the least.

Hi Dubbs, I'm going all out to get NFU to sort the claim ASAP. Assuming it's a write off and I'll be surprised if it isn't, I'd only replace it with an EU6 spec diesel.
