Those news are written in a funny way but are always based on real news.
Should be clear if you read the news to what they refer or are you just stopping to
Brexit is brexit
No deal is better than a bad deal
Get on with it
Do not say negative things about it and anyway EU will implode?

How is the EU punishing the UK ? It's the UK that has insisted on border control by not signing up to the Schengen agreement. Every country needs to check individuals/passports for non-Schengen members when entering/leaving the Schengen zone.
The delays are due to increase in scrutiny for security reason. No one country is being singled out or "punished". You will be in the queue along with anyone not from a Schengen member.
I wouldn't flatter yourself to think that other countries are really taking any "special" notice of UK passport holders and placing them on a pedestal above others MY2008 D3 - It got me hooked...gone
MY2012 D4 - It kept me hooked...gone
MY2007 D3 - Mid-Life crisis toy continues driving me to bankruptcy...
MY2018 "D5" Si6 - But is it a "true" LR...discuss...but now gone
Back in a D4 with a lot of extras....

England is the one in green
Funny how everything now seems to be a punishment for the bad eurocrats and not just the normal course of action or natural consequences of UK decisions

Got to love the "take back control" types moaning about border controls being imposed when they are the foreigners... Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

How many lives shattered. How much blood will spill, until everybody does what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning: SIT DOWN AND TALK!"

Tighter border controls should not apply when I’m going on holiday, insists angry Brexiter

Simon Williams, who voted Leave to ‘keep forriners out’, has been stuck in a passport queue for over six hours as a consequence of the increased border checks he’s been repeatedly demanding on his Facebook page.
Williams, who was already in a bad mood after receiving eighty-eight cents for his Great British pound, is now a mere six hundred metres from the full body scanners.
“I said increased border checks should keep the foreigners out. I said nothing about me going on holiday to one of their countries,” he told us.

You obviously didn't notice the jovial nature of my post.
Anyway, what has this to do with Brexit - I didn't see any move toward Schengen in or out of the EU?Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

And the EU is about to lose £350m (or whatever the figure really is) a week.
Not heard how they're planning to fill that one yet.....
As I said, they'd love to have us back, if for nothing other than funding the gravy train.
