Next of Kin confirm what a decent, family guy the dead burglar was, apart from a lifetime of scamming pensioners that is. You couldn’t make it up Rolling Eyes

"didn't deserve to die" … I could go with that. Hung up by his nuts whilst his victims got to chuck things at him might have been a good start.

His cousin was interviewed on Radio4 last night and said "the pensioner could have done something different".

No thought that perhaps her sweet cousin could have also done something different, like not being a robbing scumbag. She described him as a "lost soul", which is somewhat apt given the Pope's recent pronouncement on what happens to those who don't make it to heaven. Whistle
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

That's good news but poor old sole has a lot to come to terms with for something which beyond his control. Thumbs Up

Good point. Lots of people struggle to get over being burgled, I think I'd be one of them. To be both burgled and kill a person is lot to deal with.

Think criticism levelled at police unwarranted IMO

Released on bail in 24 hours

No charge to answer in 48 hours

Think that was fast work in difficult conditions.

Yes police had a difficult job to do.

Hope that the guy and his family get the help and support to deal with all that has happened.
