2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Manual Tonga GreenDiscovery 3

in the old D3, no engine management light is turned on !!! until 2006, in the later models if it is turned on and has to be deactivated via software!!
...By the way, today I passed MOT with the D3 and no fault or negative warning! despite d carrying my led rear bulbs as usual! nothing has changed to my understanding with the new regulation! Only the format of the final result report, the procedure seems identical to me! Thumbs Up
 lost in translation!

Doesn't it depend on MY, I believe from reading on the forum that 06 and earlier you can blank without bringing a warning light on but 07 and newer need an EGR patch?

New MOT

Re new mot

Reversing lamps lamps work, no problem, but reversing bleepers no not.

Under new mot rumor is if it’s fitted it should work, does that cover parking distance bleepers?

MOT fail - egr blanked and pipes not there so he spotted it and reluctantly had to fail it... anyone got some knackered EGR valves that I can throw on for a retest?!

my '07 passed last week with no advisories - EGR's blanked and written out in software, before the test I did get hold of a pair of pipes and fitted them so as not to attract attention to the area (just left the blanks in between and the tops open without the stubs)

I thought the MOT tester was not permitted to remove any covers...........or can the EGR removal evidence be spotted with the cover in place?
