Andi.

Yes it is, oil and filter every 7500 miles, original injectors, belts changed on time every time. Still got the original starter motor and water pump. No leaks , no smoke and it still averages over 28mpg. Works hard too, as it tows a plant trailer most of the time. In fact, apart from servicing, it has never had a spanner on it.

Front suspension was down on the stops this morning Big Cry Off out there to read the codes again. I don't hold out much hope that there will be anything new there. I need to sort this as I need to get another five years and 200000 miles out of it Laughing

Ran the diagnostics again this morning. Only one fault code U2000 motor temperature. Algorithm based intermittent fault. Disco behaving exactly the same but the fault code is a new one. None the wiser.

Hi

There’s got to be a leak there for both struts to drop , as after pulling F26 which is a 20amp fuse I can’t both front struts leaking

I had leaks all over the place on mine and in the end I used isolating valves and pressure gauges and tested each line, valve blocks etc

Even put in a pressure gauge and isolating valve before the front valve block so I could tell if it was the front or rear leaking

Hopefully the more experienced members will be along to help

When you fitted the new front airbags you didn’t unscrew the valves on top to get the pipe in did you?
As it’s a push fit, and could explain why both fronts are dropping

Is the isolating valve still fitted? Did you fit it after you realised you had a leak, or prior to? (Some owners fit extra valves to isolate airbags as a preventative measure..)
Some of the plastic T-off's leak.

No, only undid the pipe fitting. That has all been leak tested and its airtight

The fault, whatever it is, only seems to affect the front struts as the back two never move except when I raise or lower them. Got a thousand mile trip to do during next week with the trailer on so I can only hope that it survives that without getting any worse. Next Friday's date with the agents diagnostic gear seems a long way off. Sad

Hi

Fitted them after I realised I had leaks , the suspension useto drop one side , then the back etc, bubble tested everything and only found the front struts leaking around the middle when I sprayed them , yet continued to drop

So ended up disconnecting all the lines and testing them one by one and vacuum tested the valve blocks

At the end I replaced

Front struts
Air tank
Front middle and rear valve blocks
Air compressor because I was burnt out keeping up with the leaks
Disccant was everywhere so blew all the lines out

This was the valve I used with the pressure gauge , was able to turn it round so could see what side was leaking , ignore the yellow pipe, that’s for the aircon

Had to make a fifty mile round trip yesterday, no trailer this time. After about three miles the suspension fault light came on. I pulled over and immediately plugged the fault code reader in. U2000 again. Cleared it and drove on another ten miles before the light came back on. Pulled in and switched off. The front dropped right down within five minutes. Restarted and set it at off road height. Straight back up no issues. Set at normal height and continued on. Got to my destination with the light on but the suspension at normal height. Raised it to off road height and left it for five hours. Dropped a little at the front but not much. Drove home without incident and no warning light. Left it at normal height without fuse 26 in place. Down on the stops at the front this morning. No fault shown. Roll on Friday Censored

This is starting to sound like the height sensors or wiring.

On the center display, select 4x4 (arh that's probably not enabled, but you can with iid somehow)
Anyway. Above the tyres ate bars. If the bar colour goes red it means out of range.

Next time you have the fault watch the display. If the wheel is bouncing up and down and then goes red you know which sides at fault.

The other side is probably being adjusted to try and level.

All symptoms don't match this, so don't rush and replace sensor but it's worth enabling the display and watching it.

Give you a rough Idea what it looks like

Sometimes the wheel bounces up and down like a joggers breasts.
