Actually this is something that I was disapointed about when I got the car that it didn't have full closure. cant see that it would have taken much.

Suspension changes with the remote - I know it's not as useful for day-to-day use, but it's pretty smart as far as pub-car-park-tricks-showing-off goes....

I agree with the disappointment as far as the central closure is concerned, but as everything seems to be controlled via one ECU or another, could this not be as simple as a software upload patch Question
I'm not as good as I once was........but I'm as good once as I ever was.

I have this on my MINI, courtesy of an aftermarket gizmo from NewMINIStuff. All you need to do is find the same wires as on the MINI, and all should be fine and dandy.

Er...no, sorry. I "filed it" about 2 days after I installed it, figuring I wouldn't need it again.

To tell the truth, it was a $od to install in the MINI as it required connecting one of the cables to a wire under the roof lining at the back end of the sunroof (remote detector) and an even more $oddish one in the footwell wire loom that controlled the "windows up" circuit, which had absolutely no slack and needed to be extended.

Having experienced the simple act of changing a fuse in the D3 and having seen the baby's arm of a wiring loom that blocks the bank of fuses, I think installation would be tricky, to say the least.

Probably no harm in contacting NewMINIStuff and asking a couple of questions.
