Hobgoblin,
I had a look at Pirelli's website - here's the link:
http://www.pirelli.co.uk/web/catalog/car-s...AR-SUV-VAN
Tread doesn't look as aggressive as BFG's or Grabber AT2's, but clearly described as having a bias to off road conditions. Quite a bit more money than regular Scorpions

Thanks, Andy. It might be the all-weather AT tyre I was looking for, and it got good survey response on http://www.tirerack.com/tires/surveyresult...?type=ORAT, including winter driving. That would let me put something like MTRs on the second set of wheels.
I think I've got just under 4 mm left on the Zeros (I'm not very good at judging that) but I've got an off-road day and a couple of long runs back to the UK soon, so it might be time to re-shoe soon. I'll drop by next Monday if I can. Failing that, I'll be over again in mid July, so don't hold them just for me.

The ATR's came in this morning, yes I think they will work well, nice kurbing ridge and strong sidewalls.

I'm basing this solely on the pic, but they seem to have a similar shoulder to the zeros? Not as aggressive as the AT2 but perhaps better onroad for it Going, going...... Gone!
Carbon footprint? I neither know nor give a damn
