If it proves necessary, the people we should hassle are LR, not Denso: it is LR who have promised Denso they will be sending the bulletins to their dealers...DGRR

That post of mine was nearly 3 years old! However, you are quite right in that I should have followed it up, as promised... so here goes: The new enabling facility I was referring to has indeed been introduced, but, irritatingly, NOT as a diagnostic access code; ever mindful of a little profit, LR/Denso have ensured that Sat-Nav on the move is only a dealer-enabled fix that will cost you the thick end of £200 (2 hrs' shop time to upload it into your D3's brain, apparently). Remember, that is IN ADDITION to the cost of upgrading the actual mapping DVD - a new one of which seems to be released each September or so.DGRR

hi, I'm costing updating my 2006 satnav. I've read a bit on here and. Now alittle worried it's not just putting a new disc in the bOx under the seat! Updating the navigation is just a case of sticking in a new disc, Wiggs did mine for me a couple of weeks ago, it now much faster in operation and my car knows that the M6 toll exists - although it seems to prefer the cheaper M6 for its routes.
