Position of tray slides
Note the taper on the bottom of the timber slide support to account for the tail gate not oppening fully horizontally.
In my case it was 10mm.
the timber has been countersunk to allow for the anchor points to be lush with the floor.
The side rails when in position do not interfer with the operation of the rear seats and are not noticable.
When satisfied with the slide action, position the MDF on top of the closed runners and put 4 35mm screws in each corner and test the operation, when satisfied and and final adjustments have been made open the tray fully and remove the tray along with the detatchable section of the slide.
The underneath of the tray can now be compleded as per the first photo.
When fitting the caster wheels they should just ride on the carpet, press on the inside of the tailgate with your hand and you will feel the where the tailgate is solid, this is where the castors need to be positioned, not where it feels hollow.
Remove tray and side runners, paint and reinstall when dry and you should end up with something like this.

I don't have an L322, but I don't see why not.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Cracking invention and would be great when moving my kit about, never mind the normal amount of clobber that sits in my boot FFRR Owner, very nearly became a D3 owner

The runners just come apart by pressing a catch when they are fully extended, the edging is the timber frame which is made from planed timber with rounded edges available off the shelf at B&Q. Took me a day to make, second one would take much less.It can when others can't,
