Or get it in the US... saved £60 last week on a nice new black one in the AppleStore St. Louis MO
But agree... kind of.
If you call the online AppleStore I think they still do price matching - but you will need a quote or at least evidence of the lower price. Worth a try and you may get faster delivery and of course have your own little ditty engraved on the back.

BTW To save you all from asking, I have just spoken to Nick at Yeovil and the kit does not allow the track names etc to be displayed on the audio unit which is a shame. Back in the game!

Yeah I know, It's just that I wanted to have my ipod hidden away and not have to remove it from view every time I stop for a paper/fuel etc.
Also if it's that close then you don't need the steering wheel buttons either! Back in the game!

Yer, I'm considering mounting it in an alternative location TBH..
I hardly look at the track name or use playlists, just the track jump buttons so the steering wheel functionality will be ideal for me 8)
Nice one LR!

This sounds just what every iPod owning D3er is looking for.
Does anybody know that it will work with the base audio system for certain ??
Thanks in advance!

Just been down to have a look at one at Yeovil LR; whilst it looks ok to fit - some hole drilling in the dashboard and back of the glove box if you mount it as per instructions, it wasn't suitable for me and my slightly older ipod for reasons of poor fit in the cradle, so there's one more available for those who want one. I'll stick with my belkin cable.
Yeovil LR parts as helpful and efficient as ever - thanks, chaps.
A quick glance at the instruction book shows that the steering wheel buttons are used to select playlists and toggle the shuffle function. It does indeed resemble the Denison device that Martin linked to, so those peeps unable to wait for Iain to report might like to check the pdfs on that site for an idea about functionality. Ordered one anyway, hopefully I'll have it for the weekend if I'm very lucky! Seems as if I've a gen 2 ipod nano then, so will be upgrading to a full size ipod. IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver
SA - 07 VW Golf TDI - White - Sold!
