How much fluid in the washer bottle? |
|
I know it's a crap question, but does anyone know how much fluid is in the windscreen washer bottle when full? Existing car is pretty rubbish and I have to keep topping it up. Had a VW a while ago and it held 5 litres which kept it going for a fair while.
Just hoping the new Disco will be better. Anyonw know the answer? Bodsys Brake Bible

In Fact, I've just found in the Lubricants and Fluids section of the PDF that I've got, that the capacity is indeed 5 litres, just over 1 Gallon. Bodsys Brake Bible

Well on our D3 the "low washer fluid" warning had been on for about three weeks before I got around to finding our where the filler was. When I did, it took about 7 litres to fill it completely! Having been used to putting a pint or two in at a time on older cars, it was a bit of a surprise.

it will also wash the lights more often if you have a terrain response setting dialled in. Now that is cool!
