[For Sale] The Winder-O-Matic - Boot Saver
So you need to fix a flat tyre at the side of the road or track? You don't want to empty EVERYTHING out of the rear load area to enable you to put seats 6 & 7 up to gain access the winding mechanism to lower the spare wheel.......
With the 'Winder-O-Matic' you don't have to......quick and easy DIY install, next time you can just wind away and drop the spare wheel with next to no effort.
Currently I have a limited supply of these available at £80 each exc del.
Drop me a PM or post on here if you are interested.
The sharp eyed amongst you will have notice that Harvoy mentioned these a few days ago - it's a bit of a joint venture between us really as a both of us have suffered the headache of flat tyres out on the moors in horrendous rain.....I'm just doing the final mile on here, any questions fire away

Funny you should post that,
While out walking the dog I was just thinking about those and wondering when we would get a price for them
As I've got the plastic boot tub liner in I think I'll wait a while before maybe ordering one

Hoping to get chance at he weekend to take some more pics and do a quick 'how to' for fitting.....I would imagine that if you uses a socket and rachet instead of the LR wheel brace it would slip under the boot liner in most circumstances and still allow the wheel to be lowered

I've been caught out 3 times having to empty everything.....never had it happen when the dogs are in the TransK9 but I guess it's just a matter of time. I like to think of mine as a preventative measure..... Hoping never to have to use it in anger
Of course another solution is a rear mounted swing away carrier, then you are talking pricey!

Sorry confused here - Can I be a little bit thick - but what's the difference between a socket on the winder and a 12" extension bar? of am I missing something? Its not remotely powered I don't think but could it be then its really valued added? if it can be I am in and will buy one.
Jon, it moves the socket access back toward the tailgate, with this there is no need to squeeze a socket extension between the seats as access is in the gap by the hindges Altox GSM FBH controller thread

Probably worth mentioning that this will only work on one of the two winch styles. So check which one you have before ordering.
