Parrot kit, install and connections CK3100, MK's etc
after trying to install a Parrot kit (MKi9100) i was reading threads saying connect to the amp, buy certain leads etc, I contacted an they sent me these instructions to connect the kit, I have connected the kit (without the aux feed as I dont need it) and it works perfectly,
RANGE ROVER SPORT/DISCOVERY 3
DIRECT INPUT
Jaguar plugs behind radio (Black with red insert)
12v Battery – in main block on head unit (Pin 1)
Earth – taken off cigarette lighter or chassis
12v ignition – Taken off the Green wire on cigarette lighter
Inputs – found on smaller of 2 Blocks in the radio
Speaker + is Pin 5
Speaker – is Pin 3
Mute is Pin 10
AUX – Common – Pin 6
Left Positive – Pin 7
Right Positive – Pin 8
If 3.5mm Jack plug fitted, this needs to be removed for audio streaming.
Connect the Black and Brown Line in wires on Mki 9200 to Pin 6.
Connect the Red line in wire on the Mki 9200 to Pin 7.
Connect the White Line in wire on the Mki 9200 to Pin 8.
Cut the front left or right speaker out from the socket ISO on the Mki 9200 and connect positive to Pin 5 and negative to Pin 3.
Connect the Mute (yellow) to Pin 10.
Hope this helpsIf it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works

Florent... Just got the car back, i've took the h trim and radio out to take the photos snd if i get chance upload them tonight
The connections were as per the starting thread, however to confirm the brown wire from the parrot box went to pin 3, the white goes to pin 5 and the yellow to pin10, besides the ign lives and the earth these are the only connections i needed..
This wrks perfectly and streams via bluetooth...If it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works

HELP !!!
Help!!!
I've fitted the kit following all the instructions but one:
Cut the front left or right speaker out from the socket ISO on the Mki 9200 and connect positive to Pin 5 and negative to Pin 3.
Which are the positive and negative pins on the image below (yes, I've done a dumb thing by cutting them all...)
The result I have is no audio output at all be it in AUX mode or normal. The Radio is however cut (indicating phone mode) when I place a call or send music via bluetooth.
I'm wondering what were these connections for (because this, I've done it):
Connect the Black and Brown Line in wires on Mki 9200 to Pin 6.
Connect the Red line in wire on the Mki 9200 to Pin 7.
Connect the White Line in wire on the Mki 9200 to Pin 8.
Update: I think I know where my mistake comes from:
Grunders covers maybe several kits and you can read:
Speaker + is Pin 5
Speaker – is Pin 3
then
Connect the Black and Brown Line in wires on Mki 9200 to Pin 6.
then
the brown wire from the parrot box went to pin 3, the white goes to pin 5
I think the correct thing to do for an Mki9200 is the latter, correct?Serial Land Lover - (2 Defenders, 6 Range Rovers, 2 Freelanders, 3 D3s... to be continued)
