Thanks to the kind people at Yeovil (Nick and Julian), I can now use my satnav destination entry on the move on my 05 HSE with the YIW500200 DVD! 8)
They were not aware of any update, but when I heard they had the latest IDS DVD and patches I managed to convince them to have a look. 5 mins later they found the option, and after a 40 (!) minute upload, it was complete and working.
They said it was easy to find, something along the lines of 'Configure Modules' - 'Satnav' - 'Enable destination entry on the move', so any dealer should be able to do it.IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Whats the difference on the 4x4 screen? more detail would be appreciated. Mine goes in to the dealer in 2 weeks for a few small jobs, and this could be added to the list if its worth it.

There isn't any functional difference in the 4x4 screen. The only differences I could see in the whole nav system was the ability to input destinations on the move and a different style icon for the difflock symbols in the 4x4 info screen. The diff icons have lost some of their detail, it's probably easier if they're locked or not at a glance but they look much more 'basic' nowThe End

I seem to be able to fiddle with my Sat Nav on the move, how much fnctionality should you have??
Haven't looked at the actual DVD to see the code on it, how do I get at it end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......

If you press destination entry, chances are most of the options become unavailable (grey out) when you are moving.IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

Julian is a top chap. He was the tech that sorted all my early niggles and did the enhancement work too.
