No luck
The wire labelled LRIN is inserted into the satnav unit and the LROUT is connected to the plug that used to be in the satnav unit.
I would have been surprised if I got it wrong, took a very good look at the inner layout of the plugs and compared to the original one. Also, the fiddling with the wire leading to more or less noise on the screen is not a good sign I think.
Thanks for thinking along though!

Wiljo
Try rotating the plug that goes into the DVD player
It's possible for it to go in upside down

I don't have satnav image now, just some noise/distorted image with horizontal lines. Image from the camera is fine... could this be the cause?
Wiljo
Same thing with mine at first -
it ended up being a loose connection caused by squeezing the Unit and cables back under the seat.
Took everything out, unplugged all of the cables, plugged everything back in again and tested before taping / cable tying everything together.
Works well now

The installation guide is a download, here's the link

The GVIF is fitted under the passenger seat, between the SatNav unit and the seat rails. It's a tight fit, it won't lie flat and sits at a shallow angle. Arthur.
Comedy was a horse, Harvey a dog, both sadly gone. Thought I was choosing a password!

Fair enough, I had presumed that the SatNav's fitting was determined by RH or LH drive and always under the passenger seat which is where I fitted mine.
Obviously it's not. Arthur.

Tnx for replying-
I`ve tried that link, but it only get me back to the thread, not the manual...
Guess its gonna be the LH seat. I have a LH drive car.

I have one of these fitted, ashamed to say I have never used anything apart from the reverse camera. If I want to Put a TV tuner in, would the GVif power it or would I need to draw power from elsewhere? or even better would be some kind of USB video player so I can watch whatever is on my memory stick 3 Flash Indicators
