I got 28.2 on a 700 mile round trip with 150 miles of country lanes and rest stop start motorway.

I went to London from Manchester last weekend and it averaged 35 mpg according to the obc. On brim to brim calculations this was actually 33.1.
Around town, a 6 mile stop start commute in heavy traffic sees around 23mpg.Current: 2012 D4 HSE Orkney Grey 8 Speed
