All back up and running now thanks to the info from dm and his step by step guide to removing the body helped a lot.
It was very daunting when the body was off and feels like it will never go back together but we took our time and everything eventually fell back into place.
I sourced a jag s-type with less miles than our disco and removed the engine from that, swapped all the bit over and once refitted fired up straight away.
Again Thanks for the help guys
