That's fine then. I'll get one ordered. D3 is booked in for all belts and ancillaries for beginning of Feb. I'll also take a look at gearbox oil. Thanks again.. Lee

2007 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Java Black

Make sure that the oil pump is the latest FoMoCo item. There were problems with crankshaft oil seals popping out with Bearmach pumps. As said before, contact Disco_Mikey for the correct pump at the right price.

Out of interest did you get the belts and oil pump done? 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Really sorry for the late reply. Did not notice.

Yeah all was done... however the whole lot had been done but never recorded in the book. The whole lot had been done pretty recently they think. The pump was of the correct spec. So a kit was was installed anyway while yhey were in there.

In one respect a wasted exercise but at least i know where im at at at now.

To be fair the disco has a history as long as my arm and has been looked after so it would have been strange if it has not been done. Bit strange how it was not recorded really. Unless they did it themselves. But then i would of expected to see receipts.

Buy hey ho. Alls well!

On a side note its been a cracking motor so far. Get loads of kids and junk in it. Mrs loves it and cant believe how easy it is to drive for suck a big motor. Parking sensors are great. Probably the best ive had.

Which was a bonus as i was going to pay full whack for one.
