Im sure ive covered this already but i shall say it again. If anything was to fail due to excess torque then the warranty would be void. I would highly advise talking to your warranty holder to see their thoughts as some a lenient as long as it is done with a established company such as ourselves. We even have a good relationship with our local main dealer. Its also worth noting we have tuned many of these over a number of years and none have had any issue, this is due to the amount of research and development we due to ensure optimum performance without compromise to the reliability of the vehicle.
In terms of insurance you must always make your insurance aware that you have had a remap. I havent heard of the premium increasing by a lot if im honest but there will be an increase none the less.

I take it this is still done via splitting the ECU?"UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.
I take it this is still done via splitting the ECU?
The Ecu does need to be opened up on the bench for this yes but it is done with the upmost care and attention to ensure no damage is done and so it looks like it has not been touched at all.
