Compared to the 4 quarters of decline that were predicted by the Treasury...absolutely.
That makes it okay then. Not long to go before we'll be £350m a week better off as well.

Isn't it around £450m a week, now we know all the extra liabilities the EU weren't accounting for?Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Tariffs don't concern themselves with the number of countries, just the value of the trade, and we import from the EU massively more than we export.
The UK could subsidise farm exports to completely nullify the tariffs of the EU and still be around a billion a year quids-in.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

Interesting that the 5th biggest food import category is coffee, tea, cocoa, etc.
This is almost entirely down to the EU's protectionist stance, disallowing developing countries from processing coffee and tea.
Germany is the second biggest exporter of coffee, but doesn't grow a single bean (well, maybe in labs, but you know what I mean).
I hope we will use Brexit to level the playing field for African and South American coffee growers, in addition to many other things.Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto
