Where is the rule that democracy should be a 'fixed point' judgment ...we don't do it with our electoral system ..... surely if the great public view changes then democracy by it's own definition should be allowed to prevail by way of a vote.
I think if there was a second ref and the people gave brexit a full mandate then I would be more inclined to shut up. ...the truth is I don't think brexit would achieve that manadate by a long way... and the brexiteers know that.

Because if they say NO to what is negotiated, thats effectivley no deal. Or you mean just join again if we dont get what we want? That basically leaves the door open for the EU to stone wall us.
Cameron tried to negotiate and they wont move. So lets get out rapid.

The irony is that we will rejoin in the future. We will crawl back and take whatever they want us to take. Why? Because we are going back to the 1970s following Brexit. Our economy will tank once we, inevitably, go down the "no deal" route. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

I think he does mean vote on the deal and if the vote is 'no' then (try) to stay in.
Cue EU asking for £200bn and the UK begging to be let back in.
You might as well say to the EU that any deal is better than no deal, which is the DAFT position many seem to be stating. Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

What amazes me about this whole Brexit issue is David Cameron. The only reason this vote took place was to keep a few back benchers happy and stop them from ousting him. Referendum goes south and David abandons ship and does a runner. He should have been made stay on as PM to sort out the mess he got the UK into. He called the referendum on a whim just like Mrs May called the snap election, they both lost but at least Mrs May is trying to put " Humpty Dumpty together again"

I think all that has happened is that the negotiations have simply reinforced what Europe really stands for. And in my view it’s not good. All they want is our money. There apparent demands for >€100M just goes to prove it.
Common market is fine. The political integration is not. Mark.
