No, only Shell stations I can use on my long hauls (E Carlisle and Castlecary) are 4 or 5ppl over the BP and Esso stations I'd use. Problem at home is it's mostly Esso, only local Shell station doesn't have V plus diesel.

Just for your amusement, here is the average for my D4 V8 since I got it.......and bear in mind that petrol in NZ is a lot more per litre than diesel!
King of the typo.
MY11 D4 5.0 V8, Bournville, lots of goodies!
Now departed: '85 RR Vogue, '94 D1, '95 D1, '70 SIIA, '97 D1, '04 D2a. All V8, except for the SIIA - but that drank as much petrol anyway!

95E10 up here north is around 1.45 eur/L, 98E5 goes usually for 10-15 euro cents more so, say, 1.57 eur/L.
RE85 would be 0.99 e/L but of course requires flex fuel conversion kit for the engine.
Diesel is around 1.25 e/L but there is an additional tax annually levied for a diesel car.
Is it worse down there?

My understanding is that people on the eastern border fill up their tanks in Russia for obvious reasons. I, too, was in .ee a few months ago and topped up with necessities such as fuel and alcohol

Always amused me seeing cars queuing for the Tallinn to Helsinki ferry with the back full to the roof with booze and the bumper almost dragging along the ground. And Russian cars coming in from the border crossing similarly packed to the roof. Although diesel is cheap in Rooskie it's just not worth the hassle, even with a visa I've heard it takes hours to get through the crossings.

Here in New Zealand, current prices per litre (in NZD are)
91 - $2.05 (EUR1.27)
95/98 - $2.14 (EUR1.32)
Diesel - $1.35 (EUR0.83) - also has a separate road tax, based on KMs travelled and weight of vehicle)
We don't have any ethanol in the fuel here.
Of course, for a true comparison, you would have to take in to account the average wage etc..... King of the typo.

Ignore the lieometer fuel consumption figures, it always over reads. After 210,000 miles I have averaged 26.5mpg.
At the last fill up before she died Dark Bluie averaged 26.99mpg at 165,170.
Lel, if you've got an iPhone or similar get the RoadTrip app, that tracks your mpg. Very useful to spot common problems like binding EPB or brake calipers.
