6 CD unit locked in "ejecting"
Hi everyone,
Just bought disco3, and stumbled o this site, well impressed.
Can anyone help, my 6 CD unit has a problm when I select CD. The display shows that there is a disc in position 1, an the display shows "ejecting". N matter what I try to select (eject, C, load all, eject all) I cannot progress to eject this disc (if there is one) or load CDs to the other 5 positions.
Any advice appreciated.

Wiggs - THANKYOU!!
Removed fuse, replaced and nothing changed?
After some choice expletives thought I would try again, but waited longer before repacing fuse. System check was initiated, and hey presto CD1 now playing, and ejected OK, some free Mail On Sunday disc, now in the bin.
Thanks for the help everyone.

Hey,
I know this is an old thread but I have the same issues with my disco. Its second hand so out of warranty, Initially it would not load discs, then removed fuse s53 for about 10 mins. CD's now accepted but i get the message "invalid disk" on brand new bought cd's. Ive tried it in all 6 positions.
Any advice?
Thanks
Dave.

Have the same problem. Sometimes the cd plays and suddenly the screen reads invalid disk eject.
Luckily car is still under warranty and new cd unit has been ordered.

Had similar problem with mine (invalid disc) when I was on a trip to Italy, thought it may have been the heat .
Anyway on return was quoted silly money for replacement as out of warranty. I stripped the unit down and used a cotton bud to clean the CD lens and hey presto - that was 2 years ago and no problems since.
Probably should have tried a cd cleaner before stripping it but wasnt too much work.

Wiggs, thanks to you I now have a working CD player. Tried installing a single disc today (only had D3 05 HSE just over a week & found the player won't even take a CD, pulled out F53 for a minute, then inserted back in, hey presto!! Cheers mate!
