Isofix child seats - if you are looking

All,

I've had 2 Jane indy isofix seats in our D3 and have always had difficulty with getting the seat belt buckled up as the base at the rear of the seat is quite wide so with the arrival of my D3 (as opposed to SWMBO's) I thought I would do a bit of research. I started with the LR branded seats as these are Britax and having seen one in the dealer the buckle fit was much easier but they arn't isofix so the base of the seat can move around in a side impact, however the new Britax Kidfix 2-3 high back booster is isofix and fits a treat Thumbs Up. the best deal i managed to find was £110.00 each, quite a bit more than the non isofix Britax but worth it to my mind.

cheers
Dave

Not intending to hijack anyone else's post but if relevant I'll be disposing of two Isofix bases and 2 baby seats. These are suitable from birth to around 12 months and I'll be moving my twins into forward facing seats within the next 3 to 6 months. If that coincides with someone elses need then give me a shout.

Seats and bases are made by MaxiCosi. CabrioFix and EasyFix are the model names. Seats are an aqua blue bases are Isofix with additional securing leg that further prevents movement and go very well in the D3. Seats can be quick released from the base that remains fixed in the vehicle so that you need not wake a sleeping baby. Seats can be used without the base secured with seat belts. Great if you have two cars.
