Or you could just switch them off before adjusting _________________ 2007 D3 TDV6 GS Auto

Back of the light remove gray cover, inside you will see a leaver (A) to move a slide at the bottom (B)
Have not tried it with the lights still in the car, but it would make a lot more sense!
Nick
Help! I've got my headlight out and there's nothing in the manual about WHICH WAY you move the lever A. Is it up for "drive on the left" and down for "drive on the right" or the other way round?.. Bloomin' manual doesn't say. _________________ All opinions expressed in this posting are my own and are not necessarily those of someone who knows what they are talking about.

Well I have to admit I have not bothered doing this for any of my trips since my first trip with the D3!
I normally take 1 to 2 trips over a year & no one has flashed me yet, but this may be that they are still in the Europe position as I had the car repatriated after my first trip! And I have never changed them back!! _________________ Discovery 3 TDV6 SE

I had a go at the weekend. Had to take the lights out to make the adjustment. Can't see myself doing it on the Chunnel. Most of the driving will be during daylight so I'm not bothering to change them unless Frog Plod pulls me over and tells me to.
cheers

Don't do it on the chunnel! Opening the bonnet reveals your nice hot engine to the fire detection system and they get all of a tizzy with you.
Dunc, those spanish prostitutes are something else aren't they _________________ Don't Panic! Everything will be fine.... inflation is only 2.5% and the flying pigs are carbon neutral

And there lies one of the most endearing things about the French, if it doesn't make any sense then don't worry about it

So without sounding like a if I want to have a feel around how would I make sure i dont fry myself?! Is just having the lights off enough to stop me killing myself or do i need to disconnect them from anything? Those stickers have scared me....
Gunna have to get my practice in so I can do it without a crisis down the ferry port! _________________ www.ourfrenchholidaycottage.co.uk 10% off for Disco3.co.uk members!
