I remember that someone ont he RRSPORT section did cut out a piece of a TL-light diffuser to replace the amber strip.05 TDV6 HSE AUTO 7seats, tonga green/alpaca, alpine roof, privacy glass, tow kit, wood kit, 20" stormers n summer, 18" in winter, fancy exhausts, rear seat ent., club fooked turbo!

well that doesn't really replace the reflective thing on the orange strip, then again i am not sure they are mandatory in Europe, only in the USA i think ? anyone kows?

I realy want them too, do you have a close up from the finished headlight ?
I am toying with the idea to darken only the bottom half inch of chrome, so the headlight does not look as tall.05 TDV6 HSE AUTO 7seats, tonga green/alpaca, alpine roof, privacy glass, tow kit, wood kit, 20" stormers n summer, 18" in winter, fancy exhausts, rear seat ent., club fooked turbo!

I checked and it doesnt seam easy at all to fit a Defender clear turn signal lens in the D3 headlight at all.
any other idea as far as ading the Fresnel lens in here ?l=Oo\________/oO=l l:Ool======loO:l

What about finding a plastic moulding company that could take a cast of the amber side lens and produce a grey/smoked lens for direct replacement....? I've thought about this for a while. If we could identify a manufacturer, and order in bulk, the costs shouldn't be ridiculous.16 D4 Landmark

I don't now how to produce mock up pictures but my idea was to spray a smoked line (or body coloured line) at the inside of the clear lens (or the outside).
The line starts on the underside, where the bulge of the drivingslights stops.
