those big boys are twice the width one needs so they wouldn't work.
as far as side strip I struggled finding something yesterday.
only one would be ok would is from the Harley Davidson dearlership, but they are Orange and not in stock
so i visted all Bike shops, outdoor shops and automotive shop with no luck
ended up at a Camping/motorhome shop where i found some 3M reflective take (white/silver) that will do the job, well we will see later tomorow if it does. l=Oo\________/oO=l l:Ool======loO:l

Headlight mod
Hi All
Just to say this is one of the easiest mods you can do and Im glad someone had the balls to take their headlight apart as I have just done it and it makes the front end look brilliant now all i need is jewel like side repeaters instead of my orange blobs on the side.
It totallly changes the look the photos dont do it justice, the only problem is the bulbs arnt bright enough the chrome effect bulbs need to show a bit more orange when they are on.
I have to say you can live with it though

Nice job and totally agree with Gareth, the light guards set them off.
btw, you now need the clear side repeaters.I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

looks good - not sure about the MY09 rear bumper though - think it needs MY09 arches and front bumper too
you also need one of these (the colour coded vent) though to go with those clear repeaters

I think it looks pretty good with the lamp guards, but would look even better if you could have kept a thin (10-20mm) vertical strip of 'orange' at the outside edges to cover the side marker bulb holes,...

I think it's just a painted pre-MY09 bumper.2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

Wow, that looks great! I do agree that the MY09 rear bumper looks a bit off with the older arches and front bumper.

Hi Guys
good comments the side repeaters are on there way and the rear bumper got colour coded because someone scratched the plastic as obviously they couldnt park and I couldnt put up with the mess they left it in.
I just havnt had the time or money to get the rest done yet but it is a work in progress and I in tend colour coding all the plastics.
