Hi beanie, Probably took about 6 hours but I could have easily spent twice as long and it would have looked twice as good!

I'm pretty new to this forum, but this mod I like!! Just need to decide what colour grille goes with my Rimini Red D3. Thinking of doing the headlight mod at the same time so I can really mess up !!!
I have a spare Rimini grille that needs modding, I was going to put a RRS one in like this topic, as I have a FFRR one for my own D3 if your interested in either the parts to do it or a completed grille let me know

Has anyone thought to offer a service to make these? I've got the bits but am too useless to make it! Even have a spar d3 grille sitting there as I know I'd screw it up!
So.... Anyone fancy making one and I'll both pay you and contribute to forum as thanks?

It took most of the weekend due to getting and trimming. Nearly there now though. Broke the switch in my dremel which slowed things down and also modifying the cut lines to remove the inside edges that aren't required. The plastic is very sticky/smelly stuff like old car tyres. Her indoors says if I promise never to do another one in the house I can have my door keys back!!

I did mine in the living room also, SWMBO was not impressed. Hope you do a better job of yours than I did ! Mine looks good at 70 on the motorway !

I suppose you'd have to agree a price before commencement as the process is somewhat lengthy, so not sure how you'd put a price on that. It might also be worth mentioning, if you can't find a local forum member to do the assembly work, Royal Mail charge £12 one way for shipping, add in the return postage and you're getting in deep before your assembler has got his tools out.
Dubs if you want me to help, drop me a PM and I'll see about helping you out. Mods:
