Not bad that Nathan, probably better than I would have expected to be honest.
Did you ask them about your wheels, can you have them back ?
Cheers

Thanks for the comments folks, I've knocked the first offer back. It's a fair one, granted, but never accept the first offer I've been told!
They are sending me the engineers report in the morning, so I'll be to see just how bad, or how much potential it has for any prospectors.D3 TDV6 XS

Afternoon folks, well the insurance come back to me today and they are sticking at £9620, they also mentioned that current market value with that spec, age and milage would be an offer in the region of £6500, however the £9,620 still stands at the moment. So, as you would imagine, I bit their hand off! I've bought the Disco back and it'll be on its way to its new owner, a forum member, as conversion project. So at least it's not going to the breakers, thanks for all the help gents.
If anyone is interested, the 20" wheels will be on the for sale page shortly.D3 TDV6 XS

Well folks, the saga finally drawn to an end today as I picked up my new mean machine. Perhaps not to everyone's taste but I certainly like it! Picked it up from Inverness today, pit stop in Perth tonight then homeward bound tomorrow morning.
Many thanks to everyone for the advice, until I crash this one, peace!
