The trial of these blades:
1) Do they clatter & click on a dry screen ?...it appears that OEM (whatever make these are) actually do... I tried one set of Valeo & found them no better (than LR OEM) & they wore very quickly to the point they didn't clear the screen that well
2) Do they clear the screen & give good vision ?...especially with the use of windshield washers after one or maximum two wipes - a critical feature - basic safety
3) How do they work at speed ?- especially when in cross winds & inclement weather...I seem to recall the suspension type that were the common ones to be bought (either aftermarket or OEM parts) eventually had aerofoil blades fitted to keep them pressed to the screen & before that you could buy plastic aerofoils that did the same job...seem to remember they even did them in "chrome" very blingy
4) How do they work in winter conditions ? - old type (suspension type wipers) do freeze up & then don't follow the contours of the screen...or they did with all the cars I have had with these (& thats quite a lot)...this is what Bosch Winter blades cured
the current OEM (composite blade not suspension) ones seem to address (2), (3) & (4) however, they just drive you nuts on item (1)..clickety click...clickety bloody click
Personally I would pay far more if they just didn't do point (1)....just getting the lowest cost ones to me isn't an issue its the criteria at least I consider viable....
Liam@Landrover....take note of this thread...this is a brilliant example where a silly attribute of the Disco 3 (& maybe Disco 4) that is being lived with by a lot of owners & may be solved by them doing basic development work that should be either the design of the blade & arm issue or some issue with suppliers to LR.
Goddam it - its not rocket science !BREXIT - done properly.

What a coincidence this thread is, drove to Kent and back today in some rather typical English summer weather and the wipers, although only five months old clicked and juddered across the screen. They are from a main dealer.
I personally only ever buy wipers that are from a main dealer or are Bosch. I've tried most makes and find Bosch the most reliable. Just my personal opinion. These wipers from Steve sound OK and I may be willing to try them. You guys are gonna be busier than a test bench in a plunger factory!

Hi All
I promised to check the suitability of the Michelin Hybrid Stealth for the rear of the D3 today = I can now report that my D3 has one of these fitted!
So the Janet & John version of fitting........(Sorry about this) Remove your old blade! Unpack the new one, discard all of the spare adaptors, press off the pre fitted clip (finger pressure) and fit this to your arm (sliding it into place only half way so the gap is clear) push on the new blade and then slide the whole thing to the side so the adaptor is firmly in place.
So the price for the set of three is £29 and delivery will be increased to £3.75. I will hold off sending any out today so the many that ordered yesterday has a chance to add a rear blade, if you do please paypal an extra £10 Otherwise all orders will be filled tomorrow (plenty of stock coming) On our website now there is only the option for a set of 3.
The link that I posted also features an "Ultra" - this is a universal connector fit, we are not getting those in the UK at this time, ours will come with a selection of specific connectors or in the case of the Land Rover 3 & RRS these are standard hook arms so need nothing else.Paul Redding

Did LR ever changed a design of wiper arm attachment or is it still U hook type style. My in 05 MY with U hook type, but I was wondering if there is any other type that we can buy meaning ,different arms, better springs, that proceeds old model?
I also entered a vehicle info on their website and it only shows a rear wiper available for 05 MY, whereas 06 onwards all three are listed as compatible.strange...
