Yup, I'm just waiting for the parts to see what parts they put in the package, cause i asked for the wiring too, and they should see which parts they got out of the car. If not in the package ill have to buy the cable from diff to ecu, and the main harness from ecu to dash.
And I think I'll get a Faultmate also, so when i start building, I don't have to wait weeks for the stealer to have time to do the ecu config.

The Land Rover electronics repair section says they have repair looms for the different components listed in the parts catalog at the dealer.
Based on the repair looms I have seen I suspect that the rear locking diff loom that can be seperated from the main loom should be a reapir loom part.

So having the padlock symbol on the 4x4 screen doesn't mean that one would have a locking rear diif then?

No Alex - only if it turns red when "provoked" does it indicate that the rear e-diff is fitted 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

Very interesting. I have to look into that.

Not always the case at least here in the US. Some without the E-Diff have the padlock show locking sometimes just to taunt them about not having it.

let us know what you find out. Looks you can order the connectors so it is at least possible to make your own loom. Found those parts listed in the electrical section on the GTR/Topix subsciption service.

You are correct, mate. Any LR dealer should have something called "GTR Electrical Library", and spare parts for any wire loom. I found out that you can buy any contact/plug with a 15cm length of any wire in that plug. Or you can get only the metal pins you need to get into the plug, and fasten your own wire and plug it into the existing plug/contact. So if you get the complete contact with all wires in, you can just take out the ones you need and solder on your own wire and set it into your existing contact/plug.

After some long waiting for my torque wrench, it finally arrived on tuesday I could start changing parts to get the e-diff fitted.
And today after 8 hrs in the garage, mostly on my back under the car, e-diff is now fitted and working just fine.
Thanks to Spooky for documenting his own upgrade, and for letting me nag on him in pm. And to BBS for the MSV-2 to enable it.
