When the last bolt came out I cannot imagine what was going through your mind when the car started to move.
Anyway, is the car fixed now?
Good luck with the recovery!

Having known someone who was killed by a car dropping on him due to jack failure, you are a very lucky man Dale to have survived, albeit with not insignificant injuries.
A lesson to us all.
Speedy recovery.

Holy shmoly! Glad you're on the mend. My missus has the collywobbles every time she sees me under the car on axle stands with two wheels off (and two chocks in). On a lighter note, what tyre tread are you wearing? Went for a job as a human cannonball. Not the right calibre.

Scary stuff! Best wishes on your recovery!
I grew up with enough horror stories from my Dad from when he was a lorry mechanic to realise how easily these things happen! He told me a story about one guy whose air brakes wouldn't release on the trailer he was pulling. The chap was on a hill and hopped out with a hammer to give the brake drums a good whack. He was underneath when the brakes released and the truck and trailer started rolling downhill. His immediate reaction was to grab hold of the rear axle to try and stop the 40 tonne truck
