Gaz, yep one per light cluster wired into indicator wires [as described on 1st post].I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.
Photos of D4 rear light connector (& D3 for comparison) showing pins the resistor need to go across. This is the lamp side of the connector, not the body side, you may have to unclip it from the lamp body to get to it
Edit to clarify; the arrows indicate which pins on the plugs are used for the indicators and are not intended to point to the wiresThe End

your not alone matey dont worry
i now have an a bar,new mud flaps, wiring loom for roofrack lights all sat in boxes waiting to be fitted

Dunc, pass, but I suspect they'll last a good many years. No way of replacing them individually that I can see but as there are many LEDs making up each lamp it's not going to make much difference to the output if a few fail
Oddboy, £5-£6 for parts + time to fit and test, cost you more than a tenner....The End

I'll do it for £25 for the mod + £15 delivery (the lights are dispatched direct to you from my supplier so you'll have to pay for an extra lot of delivery to get them sent to me first for the mod)
You'd be better off spending a tenner buying a kit off ebay and doing it yourself The End
