I'm too nervous to do the job myself! I have had the camera and GVIF for months now from HIDS4U but then got quotes of £800 to install! Soooooo, everything is just sitting in boxes until I feel brave enough to take the trim apart myself Laughing

It really isn't that hard guys (if I can do it anyone can Laughing ).

Have a look at my signature, there's a guide on fitting both the GVIF and camera Thumbs Up

FirstKnight. I have just completed the install of mine, and I have to agree with Biz, that it is really quite easy - especially if you read the instructions that he wrote. I found them really useful.

Don't be nervous about it, I was, but as I say it was quite easy - and the GVIF unit is excellent.

I have to say, the instructions are fantastic and a huge thanks to Biz for them. Thumbs Up

I installed the ladder myself but it was stressful - as was fitting mudflaps! I'm just useless at this sorta thing. I need my Dad to visit - he'd help and it would be no probs. i'm so useless at DIY it is a joke and yet I'm a Technical Manager in Construction! Shocked Laughing

Might give it a go this weekend...
